Thank you for sharing your story, Stefan. It's truly devastating to hear about your experiences with corruption in the system, being wrongfully imprisoned, and developing PTSD as a result. Stories like yours highlight the profound human cost when systems fail those they're meant to protect.

Your experience illustrates exactly why I explore the relationship between humans and systems in my writing. When systems become corrupted or divorced from their core purpose of serving human needs, the consequences can be truly catastrophic for individuals caught in their machinery.

What you've endured demonstrates why we need both robust systems with proper checks and balances AND the critical human judgment to recognize when something has gone wrong. No system is perfect, but when people within those systems lack the ethical foundation or courage to correct injustices, the results can be devastating.

I'm deeply moved that my writing has provided some perspective for you. My motivation stems from a deep love for people and belief in a just society, while recognizing how easily systems can be corrupted when they lose sight of their fundamental purpose.

I look forward to following your stories and writing, Stefan. Your resilience in sharing your experiences after what you've been through commands tremendous respect. Glad to be connected with you here on Substack.
