We are bombarded with the promise of Artificial Intelligence [AI] nearly incessantly as a panacea for accelerated workflow, InGenius analyses, creative help, and more. It's "all the rave" as one might say.
And yet, we do not need to look very far to see that we live in a deeply troubled world and world system: Russia - Ukraine; Israel - Palestine - Iran, environmental, political, population stresses, and more.
It appears that with all the technology of [AI], it too is often used for nefarious causes not limited to intelligent weapons for the defenestration of multiple peoples; and yet, it is also used for the tackling of complex environmental problems that plague us collectively. Both uses of this technology require human intelligence [HI] to implement [AI].
So, what about [HI]? Should not that be the driving force for all things? Should that not be the true paradigm? Where does [HI] reside? [HI] comes and manifests itself in many forms: religious, institutional, governmental policies and individuals. It should be the real intent of information and its general purpose to underwrite intelligent solutions and approaches in light of the chaos merchants pursuing mischievous ends of [AI]. What do you (the reader) think? And why? That is the real, and ultimate question. /s/
Human Intelligence is ethos, pathos, and logos. What confounds me is that there was time to devote developing ideas.
There are creatures, such as the octopus, that are intelligent.
Intelligence is survival.
HI learned to harness fire for basic needs, but unleashed it has the power to destroy. AI is nothing without HI.
